For over 30 years, the Helpline Center has been South Dakota's leader for suicide prevention and aftercare services. By stepping forward, your participation will help support the Helpline Center's 24/7 crisis line, suicide prevention trainings and grief support services for survivors.
Our community and our state continue to experience the loss of our family and friends to suicide. Sadly, suicide is currently the second leading cause of death among young adults in South Dakota. We can all step forward to make a difference. There is help and hope by raising awareness about suicide and funding prevention programs.
100% of the Step Forward To Prevent Suicide's proceeds stay local to provide the services from the Helpline Center.
Thank you for stepping forward by registering or donating today! Even if you are unable to attend the event, you can still support Step Forward To Prevent Suicide by creating a personal fundraising page and spreading the word!
If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide, the Helpline Center's trained staff is available through our crisis line at 1-800-273- 8255 all day, every day.
